The science behind our technology
We were the first team to visualise how human eggs retrieved for IVF purposes develop and eliminate half of their DNA to prepare for fertilisation. This allowed us to understand why this process goes wrong in so many women. Moreover, why its fidelity declines specifically with maternal age. These mechanisms explain the vast majority of errors seen in ageing human eggs.
Building on these scientific breakthroughs, we have developed three therapeutics to rejuvenate and elevate the quality of eggs during IVF: EmbryoProtect 1, 2 and 3.
